Madaming mga bagay na ginawa ko nang nakaraang taon ang pinagsisisihan ko. Kung anu-ano ang mga yun ay di ko na kailangan sabihin. Mga bagay na akin na lamang. Kung pede ko nga lang burahin ang mga 'yon eh matagal ko nang nagawa. Pero wala naman na akong magagawa kasi nandon na yon. Past is past nga di ba. All I can do is ask God for forgiveness, try not to commit the same mistakes and be the best person that I can be.
Despite all my shortcomings, God has never turned away from me, not even for a second. Minsan kasi naiisip ko, sa sobrang dami kong kasalanan eh, dadating sakin ang karma at biglang na lang sasampal sa mukha ko lahat ng kabayaran para don. Pero hindi ganon. Ang dami-dami ko talagang dapat ipagpasalamat sa Ama. Small things, big things.
Una, nakapasa ako sa ECE board exam! Akala ko talaga non, kayang-kaya eh. Pero hindi pala, sa sobrang dami ng hinulaan ko don eh hindi ko maisip kung pano ako nakapasa. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko mag-take 2 ako ng board. Baka nagtago na lang ako sa Mindanao.
Pangalawa, nagkatrabaho ako agad. Eto kasi ang fear ko e. Naiisip ko nun what if makagraduate na nga ako, makapasa ng board pero wala namang trabaho? Edi wala ring kwenta. Para saan pa ang 5 taon kong paghihirap sa pag-aaral? Pero hindi ganon ang nangyari. June 1, 2005, I was officially hired by Nicera Philippines Inc.
Pangatlo, tatlong buwan palang nakakaraan mula nang ma-hire ako e, napadala na ako agad dito sa Japan for training. O diba? At the age of 23, i was already able to set foot on another country. Not every person is really given that chance.
Pang-apat, dahil nga sa nandito ako sa ibang bansa eh, mas malaki ang kita ko. Laking tulong talaga. Tapos dahil dun, nabili ko na yung mga bagay na matagal ko nang gustong bilhin pero hindi ko no'n mabili kasi wala naman akong sariling pera.
Pang-lima, kahit malayo ako sa pamilya ko eh hindi nawawala ang communication namin sa isa't isa at nararamdaman ko na lalong nagiging strong ang relationship at bond namin. Na kahit ma at layo din ako sa pamilya ko, eh marami akong mga kaibigan dito sa Japan at Pilipinas na nagpapaligaya sa akin sa tuwing na-hohomesick ako. :)
Basta, ang dami-dami talaga! Ultimo yung mga kaliit-liitang bagay na sakin nalang din. Wish ko, sana mas maging mabuti akong tao ngayong taon para naman kahit manlang sa ganong paraan eh, masuklian ko ang Ama sa lahat ng mabubuting bagay na ginawa at ginagawa niya para sa akin.

A Videocam and Two Digicams

God is truly good to me. I only planned of buying a single digital camera for myself but I ended up buying a canon digital video camera, a canon powershot and a sony cybershot digital cameras all at the same time. You must think of me as a money spender but not really. Lucky me, I bought all of them on sale! I know I don't have much money left in my wallet, but who the hell cares! At least I have no regrets whatsoever and I'm really, really, really, really happy! Plus, I'm not the only one who's in high spirits, my older sister definitely is. After all, she will be the one to own the canon powershot. :D
I bought my stuff at deodeo and I have to thank a few for that. Thanks to Ate Lani. If not for her wanting to pass by Avail Casual Clothing, we would have traveled another way and not have gone to deodeo. Thanks to Keg because he insisted on dropping by deodeo. Thanks to NC because they were able to give us our allowance just in time! And again, thank God because he didn't let the snow fall down that day for if it had, we would have taken the train instead of riding our bikes, and the train doesn't pass by deodeo.
It's been a week now and I still enjoy looking at my new stuff! :D

My Trip to USJ

I went to Universal Studios Japan, Osaka with my churchmates last Monday and I must say the place was really fantastic and we had a blast! Medyo bitin nga lang coz we weren't able to ride all of the rides. I guess almost all peeps from nearby Osaka got out of their beds that morning and decided to go there too. Sa dami ng tao, we had to wait in line for about an hour or two. But it's all worth it. Astig kasi sobra!
We went in first at the cyberdyne - terminator showcase. Actually, I didn't like it that much except for the human-sized robots. Medyo halos di sila kasi nagkakaiba ng effects ng rialto ng EK e. Hehehe. Plus, i'm not a fan of arnold schwarzenegger. lol.
Next stop was back to the future. We hopped in a car that looked almost the same as doc's invention in the movie. The effects were great and it really felt like i was part of what i was watching . I can't compare it to any of virtual rides of EK. Good thing i was able to enjoy this one coz i'd be too damn depressed if not. Back to the future parts 1,2 and 3 are some of my all time favorite movies.
Then, we went for spiderman! =) Again, i rode one of the mini-cars that traveled through the dark halls of whatever. i had fun with this one and i got to scream the whole time! Pano naman kasi, lech! I felt like I was jumping from one building to another. Tapos yung tipong nahuhulog ka from the top of it. hahaha! O diba, na-experience ko ding maging spiderman. =D Sa sobrang nagustuhan ko siya, pilit kong nilabas yung digicam ko para lang makapag-video (kahit bawal). Ayun! i was almost caught by one of the japanese facilitators. hehehe. di nila alam, nakapagvideo nga ako. *evil laugh*
We had lunch after that, mga 3pm na yun. Grabe! Alas-3 na pero tatlo palang napuntahan namin. you can just imagine how much of japan's population was in USJ at that time. After that, we wasted no time and hurried to Jaws. This time hindi na mashadong mahaba ang pila. I liked this one too but not as much as b2df and spidey. I would have enjoyed it better kung mas nabasa ako ng tubig. hahaha! O kaya naman, kung sumampa sa bangka namin yung pating. hahaha! Gusto ko rin yung effects na may sumasabog na fuel tanks. Galing eh, umaapoy din yung tubig. Tapos nagra-radiate samin yung init. E diba nga, winter kasi. Kahit manlang sandali eh nakaramdam ako ng init sa katawan. ahahaha! (ayokong mag-isip! =D)
Tsugi, Jurassic Park ride. This was kinda weird. Kasi diba sa movie, the setting was mainly terrain eh sa USJ, nasa waters kami. Tipong logjam (tama ba?) ng EK. Mas hi-tech nga lang coz there were moving and sounding replicas of dinosaurs circa ewan. ang saya! Basang-basa ako. Kung di lang talaga naninigas na yung kamay ko sa lamig eh inulit ko siya.
Ano pa bang other word for next, then, etc? basta, sunod is yung waterworld. I was not able to watch the real movie. My friend just told me that the artists re-enacted the movie. Astig yung set! Hirap i-describe so just check out the pics in my flickr account. hehehe. There were speedboats, canon (may enye yung n), burning airplane came out of nowhere... basta astig talaga! Sana kayang gawin ng mga pinoy yun.
Our last ride was the snoopy ride. Actually, pang-kiddie siya but it seemed to be fun so we tried it out. Sobrang nabitin nga lang kami. Pagpilitan ba daw kasi e. Sobrang nagsiksikan kami ng friend ko sa isang carrier (carrier ba tawag don?), para kaming tanga! Ok lang naman kasi I got to buy a picture of me screaming as a souvenir. lintek na yon! 1,100 yen nagastos ko don. Pero ok na rin nga kasi yun lang naman ang souvenir ko besides the loads of picture and the video that i took.
Haaaay... yun naman lang. A day was just not enough still i was overwhelmingly happy until now!!! At last, i finally made it to USJ. Next target, tokyo disneyland! hahaha! As if i could afford that one. =D

Rant, rant, rant!

Ilang beses ko nang sinabi na hindi dapat maging masyadong masaya sa mga bagay-bagay kasi panigurado na meron at merong kapalit yan. At eto na nga, matapos ang lahat ng saya ko sa videocam, digicam, USJ, eh pagkainis naman. Nung thursday ko pa talaga nalaman ang nakakainis na balita, kaya lang mas nangingibabaw pa rin yung saya ko. Pero dahil sa mangyayari na bukas ang kinaiinisan ko, wala, wala na lahat!
Una kong kinaiinisan: ganda ng salubong ng bagong taon! matapos ang anim na araw na bakasyon eh, 10 araw kaming staight na may pasok! Woohoo!
Pangalawa: Anong araw ang kasama don? Hulaan mo! Ay medyo nabanggit ko na pala. Linggo!!! Woohoo! Hindi tuloy ako makakasamba. Darn!
Pangatlo: Pati lunes may pasok! Eh, public holiday yun dito e!!! Waaaaa!
Pang-apat: Dahil nga walang bakasyon, di ako makakasama sa pag-gagala.
Pang-lima: Buti sana kung bayad ang mga araw na yan!?! Ay nako, mahabang eksplanasyon kaya hindi ko na isasama dito. Basta yun. Ang OT ay OTy na naman!
Pang-anim: ang hinayupak na si STEELWOOL!!! Kung di niyo siya kilala na malamang nga ay hindi, siya ang boss kong Hapon. Walang patumaga kung magbigay ng trabaho.
Hay nako, kung katabi ko lang si Stephen Covey, nabatukan na'ko no'n. Hindi ko lang talaga kayang maging proactive nang malaman ko na kailangan naming pumasok sa mga araw na dapat ay bakasyon kami at nagpapahinga lang.

Dinner, Bonding... with 1-year pips

Just got home. My officemates and I went out to eat dinner at Skylark Gusto. Ate Marie's (the one in of green shirt) been meaning to eat there for i guess 2 weeks already. We always fail to do so coz three of us are always on overtime. Finally, we made it this evening!
Well, this night was extra special coz it's one of our last bonding moments with Ate Marie and Ate Jaz. They will be leaving soon, 12:00AM of Jan 23 to be exact. I'll be missing them surely especially Ate Marie's garfield smile and her dialogue, "ay! ganyan ka pala..." with complete facial expression. i can't describe it here but it's really cute. hehehe. I'll also miss teasing ate jaz about ghosts and stuff coz she's really so damn scared of them.
Anyway, that's just it for now coz i'm very sleepy already. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Weeee!!! Sobrang saya ko kahapon kasi after almost 11 days na walang patid na pagtatrabaho at pagpapaka-alipin sa mga Hapon ay sa wakas nakita ko rin ang mga churchmates ko. Grabe, namiss ko silang lahat lalo na sina Joy, Mommy Cora at Kuya Edwin aka Philip Salvador. As usual, kulitan, hiritan, asaran lalo na ang sarap ng feeling na maka-attend ulit ako ng worship service namin. :)
Actually, na-miss ko din talaga ang Kobe kahit alam ko na sa tuwing pupunta ako doon ay halos isang lapad ang inaabot ng mga gastusin ko. pamasahe, foodz, at mga pambili ng kung anu-ano, kadalasan mga gamit na hindi ko naman kelangan. di ko na sasabihin kung magkano lahat-lahat ang gastos ko sa pamasahe at baka malula pa ang kung sinomang babasa nito. isipin pa, ang yaman-yaman ko na. hahaha! di naman masyado, onti lang. hehehe. ayun, ano bang mga nabili ko kahapon? uhm... 1) japanese postcards -- have no intention of using it, they're just merely for souvenirs; 2) skirt -- a black one, pansamba ko :); 3) hokkairu -- basta hand warmer yun; 4) gift -- birthday kasi ng roommate ko sa wednesday. All in all, i spent 2,358 yen! Kung iisipin mo, that's about 1060 pesos. para pa lang yun sa mga stuff ha... grabe ang gastos talaga! pero ayos lang yan, minsan kasi hindi ko na napapansin mga gastusin dito eh. we actually treat 100 yen as one peso. pero promise, starting january 28, magtitipid na talaga ako. as in seryosong pagtitipid. :)
Tapos eto pa, dagdag sa kasiyahan. Kahapon kasi ang dating ng batch 9 of trainee production workers ng NPI (Ehy, Picolo, Ate Weng and Jean) dito sa Japan. Bale from Kansai airport, sakay sila ng bus to Namba, OCAT tapos from there eh sasakay ulit sila ng bus papunta dito sa Tottori. Ang galing kasi ang usual na sinasakyang bus ay diretso na from osaka to tottori. Well, ang nasakyan nila is yung osaka-kobe-tottori. Akalain ko ba namang pagsakay ng bus eh may kakaway sa akin. hahaha! napasigaw tuloy ako, "EHYYYYYYYY!!!!" Saya talaga sobra. Sobrang na-miss ko kasi ang taong ito e. Siya yung kahit parati kaming pinupuyat ay okay lang dahil pinapatulog niya rin kami. :) tapos siya din ang malakas maghamon ng wrestling sa akin eh, parati naman siyang talo. Sa laki ko ba namang ito no!?! Hehehe.
So yun, pagdating ng apato, kain ng sopas at chicken lollipop. mega kwentuhan at chismisan ever. Kaya, kahit puyat at pagod, enjoy pa din...:)

Out of Circulation

I've been out of the Philippines for almost five months now. No wonder I am so out of circulation with respect to newly released films and music albums. Good thing Teanuts is keeping me posted of what's to come in the moviehouses. Underworld, Chronicles of Narnia, Xmen 3, etc... At least I would be able to request from my NPI-mates and friends some pirated DVDs through our company's weekly shipments. But with new music releases, darn! Teanuts is also some kind of a loser! hahaha! peace teanuts. =D Di bale at mas loser padin ako! What keeps her ears busy daw is the Ultraelectromagnetic Jam album.
One proof of me being a loser: I just found out about the song "Where Are You" few days ago. If I have not asked Francis' status in YM, "kanta ba yang status mo?", guess i really wouldn't have found out. Then I realized that that was also the status of Jarder before. Tinanong ko pa man din sya ng, "Sino na naman yan?"... Loser talaga... Hahaha! Pero ayos lang, i was able to download it last night. Thanks to Limewire! Sobrang natutuwa ako sa song! Ang cute tapos parang RnB na hindi naman. hehe... basta yun na yun!

Limang araw ang makalipas...

Oo, alam ko. Limang araw na ang nakalipas mula nang huli kong post. Sensha na sa akin. At sensha na sa mga nagbabasa nito. Ewan ko nga lang kung meron. Bwahahaha. Wala naman masyado kundi mga kaibigan. =D
Ano ba? Dalawang bagay lang naman ang gusto kong isulat sa ngayon sa blog ko eh. Ang pag-alis ng dalawa kong kasama sa trabaho at ang pangarap kong makapagsuot ng japanese uniform! Joke! Grabe naman yun. Tama na nga, eto na.
Bye Ate Marie and Ate Jaz. 13 kaming lahat dito sa apato nung Linggo pero mula nung Lunes ng hating-gabi, kaming lahat ay nagpaalam kina Ate Marie at Ate Jaz. Malungkot isipin na matatagalan na naman bago kami magkita-kita ulit. May limang buwan ko din silang nakasama dito sa Japan. At sa loob ng mga panahong iyon, di ko man sila lubusang nakilala ay masasabi kong maganda ang aming mga pinagsamahan. Si Ate Jaz, tahimik, pero mararamdaman mo na mabuting tao. :) Napaka-maalalahanin din. Kahit sandali palang kami nagkakilala ay hindi niya nalimutan ang birthday ko at nag-abala pa siya para mabigyan ako ng regalo. :) At kahit parati ko siyang tinatakot dahil sobrang matatakutin, ngingiti lang yun dahil alam naman niya na binibiro ko lang siya. Si Ate Marie, mabait din talaga pero stricto. Pag may napag-usapan kaming oras ng alis, dapat masunod yun. Kasi planado ang lahat sa kanya. Hindi man niya sinasabi pero alam namin na sumasama ang loob niya pag may sumisira sa mga tulad ng ganong usapan. Pero kahit kailan ay hindi namin nakitang problema yun. Bilib nga ako sa kanya sa kung papaano niya planuhin ang mga bagay-bagay. Tsaka kapag siya na ang nagsasalita sa mga weekly meetings namin, ang dami-dami ko parating napupulot na aral sa kanya. Words of wisdom ika nga nila. Kaya ayun, gusto kong magpasalamat sa kanilang dalawa sa lahat-lahat ng nagawa nila para sa'kin. At hanggang sa muli!

in japanese uniforms. 2 sa mga masusuwerte kong officemates ang nakahiram sa mga kaibigan naming Hapon ng luma nilang highschool uniform. sobrang nakakainggit kasi yung uniform dito sa japan. ang cute-cute nilang tingnan. actually, hindi naman pala talaga ganun kaikli yung mga palda nila tulad sa mga napapanood nating anime. yung iba lang talaga eh, medyo maaarte at fashionista kaya iniiklian nila. hehe. kaya yun! sa wakas at na-accomplish ko na ang isa sa mga gusto kong magawa dito sa japan. ang makapagsuot ng japanese uniform! hahaha! ang babaw ko no!?! o diba? souvenir talaga. yun nga lang kulay blue. hindi naman dahil sa ayaw ko nang blue pero mas naging masaya ako sana kung parehas nung uniform nina miaka at yui sa fushigi yuugi ang nasuot ko. hehe. asa pa ako no!?! tsaka mas gusto ko din sana kung yung uniform na panlalaki is yung parang chinese style. whatever! basta yun na yun. dapat nang makunteto at mahirap maghagilap ng ibang style ng uniform. ang isang set ata nun dito is 3 lapad. meaning about 15000 pesoses yun!!! ganun ka-mahal, grabe! haay... tama na nga ang daldal at eto na ang ilang pics...
